Pioneer women

As we go through are lives many great technology advances have made our lives easier.

As I've been living in cokeville for 3 months I have learned what a taste of these women lives are like. Chopping wood, cleaning and having to cook. I never thought I would say I miss the l convince of fast food or even grocery store. Not that we really ate out but the idea.

My live changed and I am grateful for technology and the simple wonders we still use since pioneers. Fire is wonderful cheap heating I have grown to love

Christmas Tree

Every year we put up a christmas tree. As child I remember the days of looking at the tree and loving every minute of putting it and decorating it.

This year I decided we would start a new tradition and go up in the mountains cut down our tree. This was absoultly a blast. Not only was it just ten minutes away to be in the deep mountains to cut it down it was fun family day.

Here Picture of the tree

Be true to yourself!

Quote of the day:

The world may judge you negatively for your deeds, but being true to yourself is better than being a liar just to impress everyone...  unknown author

As we all progress through life we learn and grow. This quote to myself has great meaning in being true to yourself and others. No lie will ever allow you to be your full potential in life.
Over the last year I have worked on accepting who I am and loving who I am. I don't need to pretend to fit in. If others don't accept me for who I am then they are negative energy or just going to bring me down.

As We live today lets do as Wayne Dyer says"
"Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal.
Live this day as if it were your last.
The past is over and gone.
The future is not guaranteed."

Family Pumpkin Carving Night

Halloween is approaching and nothing like carving pumpkins to get in the halloween spirit. This year I promised the kids we would carve since the last two years we have painted them.

After we cut open the pumpkins and dad of course started cleaning them out. Kids acted sort of scared to touch the seeds but as time went on they began to help.

After picking their pumkin stencils. Kambrie of course picks one of the hard ones and so glad doan took the role in helping her. Hollan picked easy one for mom and we started carving. Such an enjoyable process and here are some after pictures!

Kynnlie loved the pumpkins and wanted to play with them. So cute!

Hope everyone has Happy Halloween!

Never give up

 Thought of the day:

Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they’ve got a second. - William James

Everyday we go through challenges. Some simple or easy and some big. Over the last year I have been through small and big challenges but my main goal been working on changing my thoughts to always  positive think about everything. Living each day to my fulliest and never giving up.

My children teach me more than I ever thought they would. Kambrie shows me even though it not easy for her she still has the determination to keep going and learn. Hollan who has little easier time at some things never keeps that spark to keep learning or trying.Kynnlie never giving up each time she falls down. If children can do it so can I!

So this week lets give each thing that seems like a challenge a second wind and achive our goals, look for happenines. Love ourselves and one another enjoy life! I know I will!
